Program: Major in Psychology with Concurrent Education (Primary/Junior)
Hello! My name is Meagan Wills, and I am a fifth-year Concurrent Education student, here at Nipissing University. I chose to come to Nipissing University five years ago, and it was the best decision I ever made! I loved this campus because it was a small community, had lots of outdoor adventures you could pursue, and I found all of the people I had talked to were very positive, and friendly. Fast-forward five years, and I still believe I made the best decision for me. If you are reading these blogs to find out if Nipissing University is right for you, here are some things that make Nipissing University special: the small class sizes, the friendly atmosphere that the Nipissing community has, whether that be students, staff or faculty, the trails at the back of the school, and the endless possibilities to enjoy extra-curricular activities (...and if there is not a club you like, you can create your own!) Lastly, my hobbies are reading, working with children, or hiking, and some extracurricular activities I have been involved in include student blogging, the children’s literature book club, psychology student studies, tutoring, and events surrounding our education classes. After graduation, I plan on travelling, and hopefully teaching in a classroom, or working with children in general.
