Scholarships

Scholarships are merit-based rewards for academic achievement, which means if you get the marks, you get the money! There are countless other awards and bursaries based on unique criteria such as financial need, demonstrated citizenship, volunteerism, academic program, employment and more! You can even apply for these awards before you’ve received an official Offer of Admission – simply fill out and submit the appropriate application form(s) below!

If you apply for admission to Nipissing directly from a Canadian secondary school, you will automatically be considered for entrance scholarships – no application needed!

We calculate scholarship averages using the best six final 4U/4M marks completed as of the end of June. Your final grades can make a big difference!

Chancellor’s Award
$10,000


» awarded to two first-year students entering full-time undergraduate studies (first entry only)
» minimum average of 85%, show evidence of personal leadership activities and financial need
» renewable at $3,000 per year

Schulich Scholarships
$7,000


» awarded to full-time students entering the first year of an undergraduate degree program with a focus on education (Bachelor of Physical and Health Education, Concurrent Education or Consecutive Education)
» minimum 80% average, must have demonstrated contributions to the community or financial need
