Having just come off the road from another year of fall travel, there are a few things that come to mind in December.
First of all, thanks! Thanks to all the students and their questions and interest in Nipissing University as well as all the Guidance Counselors for recommending Nipissing as a great destination for your students.
One thing that always becomes clear at this time of year is just how much information is out there for Grade 12 students to sort through and make sense of all the University Student Guides. Prospective students are usually stressed out trying to figure out where they truly belong. Being a Student Recruitment Officer at Nipissing, I hope that our team has made clear just how available we are to those students that still have questions. There are a myriad of ways to get in touch: via e-mail (firstname.lastname@example.org), phone (705-474-3450 ext. 4200), or Twitter and Instagram (@NURecruitment).
As I reflect on when I was in Grade 12, trying to figure out where I would be for my first year of university I wish that I had asked more questions. There is certainly no such thing as a stupid question and that is what the Student Recruitment Officers are here to answer. Whether its a question that you can’t remember the answer for, or a concern of a parent, we are here to help you transition from seeing us at your secondary school, education fair, or the Ontario University Fair through to your first day of University. Most importantly: we are here for you.
Don’t hesitate to get in touch!
